Another Silent NYC Protest Opportunity

www.lightupthesky.org proposes yet another silent protest in New York City during the Republican Convention. This one is focused more specifically against the war in Iraq and will use light as a tool of protest:
On August 30, from dusk to dawn, all citizens who wish to end the Bush presidency can use light as our metaphor. We can gather all over the city with candles, flashlights and plastic wands to silently express our sorrow over all the innocent deaths the war has caused. We can gather in groups or march in silence. No confrontation and above all, no violence.

I plan to be in NYC during at least some portion of the convention and will be sure to light up the sky with whatever light source I can muster that night. Gotta find out if the ecstasy is included.
