Oh yeah, totally...

...Democrats want to ban bibles. Helllloooooo, everyone knows that. And now, so do West Virginians:

Campaign mail with a return address of the Republican National Committee warns West Virginia voters that the Bible will be prohibited and men will marry men if liberals win in November.

The literature shows a Bible with the word "BANNED" across it and a photo of a man, on his knees, placing a ring on the hand of another man with the word "ALLOWED." The mailing tells West Virginians to "vote Republican to protect our families" and defeat the "liberal agenda."

I do not understand why people think that by not allowing gay people to marry - that this is 'protecting' the institution of 'marriage'. Whether some people like it or not, others who happen to be people who are gay are part of the wider community. They vote and pay taxes and usually have faced a life of discrimination, hatred and fear from the likes of these people who 'claim' to be protecting the insitution of marriage. No insituation is perfect and if it does not evolve and grow, it becomes antiquated and that includes the institution of marriage. Have a nice day everyone cheers Steven
